NRI Institute of Technology was established in the year 2009 at Kotur, Srisailam Highway, R.R. District, Andhra Pradesh by NRI Group of Institutions Society pioneered by Technocrats with varied Industrial and Consultancy Experience.

The Institute imparts training for Under Graduate engineering courses namely     1.Computer Science and Engineering 2. Electronics and Communication Engineering 3. Civil Engineering 4. Mechanical Engineering 5. Aeronautical Engineering. All the courses are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi (Statutory body of Government of India) and Department of Technical Education (DTE), Hyderabad, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Institute is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

The campus is located on Srisailam Highway near to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad. The Institute has fully developed infrastructural facilities above and beyond what is required by AICTE and JNTU. Spacious class rooms, well equipped Laboratories, Drawing Halls, Computer Center, Canteen, Central Library along with Digital Library. All departments are functional with qualified teaching faculty as per AICTE norms.
